We are currently seeking a Special Education Teacher for an opportunity in Howard County, Indiana for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year.

This full-time role supports 5th–6th grade students with mild interventions and offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a supportive, collaborative school community.

Position Details :

• Position : Special Education Teacher
• Location : Howard County, Indiana
• Start Date : ASAP
• End Date : June 2026 (end of the school year)
• Schedule : Monday–Friday, school hours (full-time)
• Grade Level : 5th–6th Grade
• Hours : Full-time

Responsibilities :

Provide special education instruction and support for students in grades 5–6 with mild interventions.

Deliver small group and individualized instruction based on student IEPs.

Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to implement accommodations and modifications.

Monitor student progress, complete progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings.

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment to support academic and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications :

Valid Indiana Special Education teaching certification required.

Experience teaching upper elementary students preferred.

Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills.
