Acute Care RN - Vascular Access

$8,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible rehires and external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

The Vascular Access Device Nurse Clinician engages in specialized intravenous and nutritional nursing using expertise to enhance successful placement, patency, and maintenance of vascular devices in the adult and pediatric patient population. Physiologic, metabolic, behavioral principles and technological advances are also considered when interventions that utilize the nursing process are planned. The Vascular Access Device Nurse Clinician conducts opportunities for staff development and patient education, as a consultant to serve as a resource to staff, patients, and other health care providers

Required Qualifications :

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Upon hire : Texas Registered Nurse License
• Upon Hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 or more years of nursing experience
