What will you be doing :

The Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and / or unit.

• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene in the Med Surg Tele Unit.
• Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients.
• Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
• Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and / or unit.
• Answers phones and call lights.
• Ensures unit is stocked with supplies.
• Assists patient transporter as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift = Days, 730am to 7pm

Qualifications

Experience Requirements :

Minimum 6-months to 1-year of nursing assistant or related experience, two (2) plus years preferred.

Required To Have Experience In Acute Care Setting.

Educational / Certification Requirements :

High School Diploma / GED.

Current BLS Required. (BCLS Certification Preferred).

Certified Nursing Assistant. (preferred)
