The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate receiving, processing, and distribution of all incoming materials and supplies at the academic medical center. This includes managing a team of receiving handlers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position plays a critical role in supporting the smooth operation of the medical center by ensuring timely delivery of essential supplies to various departments.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :

  • High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and / or GED equivalent programs.
  • Minimum of 4 or more years of experience in receiving and inventory control, preferably in a healthcare setting. Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Working conditions : This position requires working in a warehouse environment, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and potential hazards. The position may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and / or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred :

  • Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP) certification.

    Minimum rate of $68,473.60 Annually HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members.
