Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Wastewater Assistant Engineer for our Cincinnati, Detroit, Nashville, Memphis, Columbus, Cleveland or Twin Cities offices within the Midwest region . As part of our Water / Wastewater team you will be involved in a wide range of water, wastewater, reuse, and infrastructure projects, which can include treatment, distribution, and collection systems.

Work Setting :

  • Hybrid (remote and office)

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsibilities to Include working on a project team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction of treatment facilities.
  • Field work and site visits from design through construction may be required.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • B.S. degree in environmental, civil, chemical, or mechanical engineering (MS preferred)
  • EIT or plan to obtain
  • 0-4 years’ of experience
  • Candidate must possess excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient in all computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Candidate must have strong organizational skills.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • CADD and other software (GIS, etc.) skills will be considered a plus.
