Business Development Representative

Base Annual Salary : $135,000

Bonus : $25,000 for every million go over sales goal of year

Full Time Position : 50 Hours

FLSA : Exempt

Working Hours :

Monday-Friday 7 : 30 am – 4 : 30 pm

(Hours will vary as needed)

Report to Vice President

Job Summary : The Business Development Representative will play a key role in driving company growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s presence in both existing and new markets. This person will work closely with leadership to develop strategies that align business goals with client needs in land surveying and related industries.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in our services
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute growth strategies, including market expansion and strategic partnerships
  • Attend industry networking events, trade shows, and professional association meetings to promote company services
  • Conduct research to identify new business opportunities, industry trade and competitive insights
  • Identify, pursue and secure new clients through networking, outreach, and lead generation activities
  • Support marketing efforts through collaboration on campaigns, branding initiatives, and targeted outreach
  • Work closely with project management and surveying teams to ensure smooth client handoffs and service delivery
  • Learn and understands Precision Surveying & Consulting Inc’s business, project delivery systems, commercial terms, profit levers and enhancements, and issues affecting risk
  • Supports a positive and inclusive work environment

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of business development, sales, or client relations experience — ideally within land surveying, engineering, or construction industries
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed business growth goals
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
