Patient Account Representative
We are looking for a detail-oriented Patient Account Representative to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in professional billing, including Epic or eClinicalWorks, and a passion for providing excellent service to patients and payers alike.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and follow up on patient accounts, including self-pay balances
- Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for accuracy and completeness
- Resolve insurance denials, rejections, and patient billing inquiries
- Accurately document account activity and payment statuses
- Process claims and payments through Epic or eClinicalWorks
- Collaborate with billing and revenue cycle teams to ensure timely resolution
