Duties :
- Perform surgical procedures on patients, following established surgical techniques and protocols
- Conduct pre-operative consultations to assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Utilize medical coding systems to accurately document procedures and diagnoses
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as anesthesiologists and nurses, to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique during surgeries
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery and make necessary adjustments to ensure their safety and well-being
- Provide post-operative care, including follow-up examinations and monitoring of recovery progress
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in surgical techniques, technologies, and medical research
Use medical imaging technology for diagnosis and treatment planning
Collaborate with the dental clinic team to provide comprehensive patient careProficiency in dental clinic systems, including Dentrix Ascend, for efficient workflowQualifications :
Dental Degree from an accredited medical schoolBoard certification in SurgeryValid state medical licenseProven experience as a Surgeon, with a strong track record of successful surgeriesProficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic or DentrixExcellent knowledge of HIPAA regulations and complianceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional attention to detail and manual dexteritySkills :
