The Position

This position is a member of the Engineering Department.  The Layout Drafter / Mechanical Drafter will report directly to the Mechanical Engineering Team Leader.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Produce finished AutoCAD and / or SolidWorks drawings. Including, but not limited to, general arrangements, sketches, mark-up’s, preliminary layouts and proposal drawings.
• Work with mechanical engineers to perform all drawing requests.
• Drawings to be of quality work, conforming to Bartell standards.
• Update marked up drawings or legacy prints (RPG requests) as required.
• Provide accurate data entry of information between D365 and point(s) of origin.
• Ensure BOM accuracy per print.
• Create Bartell part numbers as required.
• Create item masters for all new purchased components.
• Ensure standardization and quality of inputs.
