What You Will Do :

Responsible for providing assessment for Illinois Department of Human Services programs that participate in Illinois ExceleRate, conduct inter-reliability assessments, and write accurate reports.

Essential Responsibilities

Provides on-site or virtual evaluation and provides support for state early childhood programs using the Environment Rating Scales, Classrroom Assessment Scoring System tools, and the Program / Business Administration Scales.

• Prepares and submits evaluation reports according to the required time frame and criteria.
• Participates in inter-rater reliability training for all required evaluation tools, writes related reports, and maintains required level of reliability.
• Attends all staff, assessment team, and supervision meetings.
• When requested, conducts and provides ExceleRate trainings on specific assessment tools.
• Provides support for other McCormick Center duties as assigned.

The salary range of the grade for this position is $50,453 to $73,157 annually. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Offers are based on multiple factors permitted by law, including but not limited to : budgetary considerations, job-related knowledge / skills, experience, market considerations, tenure and standing with the university (applicable to current employees), and internal equity.
