College Physics Tutor

Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects online College Physics tutors with students nationwide. As a tutor, you'll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students' learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and increase for specialized subjects. You'll earn up to $40 / hour with the same student, and get paid up to twice per week for completed sessions and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform to provide 1-on-1 online tutoring focused on College Physics.
• Record and convey concepts clearly, adapt lessons to individual learning styles, and personalize instruction as needed.
• Be matched with students whose needs align with your teaching style and expertise.
• Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and improve outcomes.
• Manage tutoring sessions and invoicing; Varsity Tutors handles payments and logistics.
