Overview : Clinical Supervisor, LCSW or LCPC
Heritage is seeking a full-time Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts to join our dedicated team. This role involves providing clinical supervision and overseeing the evaluation and verification of completeness, accuracy, and establishment of medical necessity criteria for various documents. Examples include Illinois Medicaid Comprehensive Assessment of Needs and Strengths (IM+CANS) reviews, ASAM Dimensional Assessment reviews, progress notes, and other documentation used to determine medical necessity and appropriate level of care placement.
Core Responsibilities Include :
The lead staff on substance use and mental health documentation review and signature (authorization) processEvaluate the ongoing necessity for service delivery, progress in services and make recommendations for treatment changes as appropriateVerify clinical need for services and treatment recommendationsCoordinate with treatment teams to gather additional clinical information necessaryWork closely with clinical supervisors to address questions or concerns related to staff training in best practices for clinical documentationAdvise clinical staff regarding appropriate procedures or practices in response to completion of assessment toolsProvided clinical supervision to staff seeking clinical licensure.Participate in clinical staffing and provide guidance on best practices and client engagement.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Well-versed in Rule 132 / 140 and SUPR 2060 / 2090Experience navigating nonprofit behavioral health service delivery and documentationCreative and innovative, especially as it relates to staff development with documentation practices.Ability to identify solutions, collaborate with team(s) and leader(s)Takes initiative to strengthen services through evidence-based and trauma-informed practicesAbility to work collaboratively with multiple programs and staff and have extensive background in providing administrative and clinical supervision.Ability to navigate electronic health recordEducation and Experience :
Masters’ Degree in a Human Service field (clinical counseling, psychology, social work, etc.)Credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in good standing in the State of IllinoisValid driver’s license, reliable means of transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance are required.Salary Range : $67,000 - $75,000 per year
