The Massage Therapist administers therapeutic massage at ECHN rehab sites, adhering to prescribed standards and techniques. They perform various massage strokes with appropriate pressure, rhythm, and rate while ensuring safe practices and proper body mechanics. Additionally, the therapist is responsible for identifying any contraindications and may assist in marketing efforts as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY :

Administers therapeutic massage in accordance with prescribed standards and techniques. Provides massage therapy at ECHN rehab sites.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION

Graduate of an accredited school of massage therapy.

Must hold or is eligible for Ct license and have one year progressive experience in massage therapy.
