Job Description
Performs technical and clerical review of building plans and issues permits consistent with departmental regulations. This technical position requires sound judgment and excellent customer service skills, and is performed with considerable independence under the supervision of the Senior Permit Analyst or Assistant Manager, Plans Review.
Representative Duties & Assignments
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or equivalent and two years of technical or clerical experience including customer service; or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
Must have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with the general public while discussing, explaining, and interpreting departmental policies.
Preferences
Demonstrated computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
