Security Response Team Shift Supervisor (Fourth Shift)

We are seeking a Security Response Team Shift Supervisor (Fourth Shift) to support our customer in Patuxent River, MD. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following numerous and diverse duties and meet the education and experience requirements below.

Provide access control support to the PMA-274 Physical Security Office as required for monitoring and controlling access of the hangar and warehouse, and test aircraft which are essential to the execution of the VH Presidential Helicopters. The Contractor shall verify all personnel entering building 2805 (also referred to as the Presidential Helicopter Support Facility (PHSF), to include the hangar and warehouse), NAS Patuxent River, MD for visible badge identification, direct visitors to designated areas, maintain key control, master files and log books. In accordance with MCO 5530.14A, all presidential assets require 100% Yankee White access control 24 / 7.

Duties will include, but are not limited to :

  • Review paperwork / Shift Reports.
  • Complete a proposed schedule for assigned Shift.
  • Ensure that minimum manpower requirements are met and that personnel are given required days off.
  • Review / Sign Leave Requests.
  • Ensure that all required duties are performed completely and according to Policy.
  • Monitor Shift's activities with special attention given to delight the customer.
  • Ensure that personnel are provided a positive work environment that fosters fairness and mutual respect.
  • Ensure that daily workload is distributed fairly among personnel.
  • Coordinate response to emergency calls for service.
  • Monitor Shift's activities / personnel to ensure compliance with established Policies and Procedures (wearing of the uniform, patrol duties, response to alarms, cell phone use, etc.).
  • Report to / coordinate with the Team Lead to ensure that all of the above duties and responsibilities are executed in an exceptional manner.
  • Conduct shift work on Shift 4 (10 : 00 pm to 6 : 00 am)

Required Experience : Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. Desired Skills : Candidates must be current PMA274 SRT members who have been in their position for a minimum of one year. They must possess (and retain) a current Yankee White. They must have proven supervisory experience and a demonstrated ability to lead based on prior work history. The SRT Shift Supervisor will need to demonstrate some flexibility to provide coverage as needed to support other shifts with limited notice.

Education : Associates Degree. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance in a reasonable time. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Position is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining the requisite Top Secret (TS) U.S. Security. Further, candidates must be eligible for a Yankee White (YW) U.S. Security Clearance.
