Turner Industries Group is looking for an Asset Planner for work in St. Gabriel, LA. This role works with supply chain teams to develop best production options for FF&P and A.I. production at the St. Gabriel Plant by delivering daily, weekly, and monthly production plans. Responsible for creating and maintaining detailed manufacturing schedules to satisfy supply requirements for formulation and packaging units within SAP. Also performs vendor scheduling activities requiring SAP-MRP transactions for production planning, material scheduling and receipts, master data management, production reporting and analysis of consumption against standards for St. Gabriel production units. This position is a liaison for communication of production schedules and material delivery status to supply chain stakeholders in Greensboro and St. Gabriel Plant.
Functional Requirements :
Create daily production schedules for formulations and packaging based on demands in SAP for saleable finished goods and availability of all key AI's and raw materials; r eview monthly supply requirements and ensure that short and long range plans meet requirements; i dentify and resolve capacity constraints between shared resources; develop solutions to
bottlenecks and inefficiencies; r eview MRP generated requirements for lower level materials and create purchase orders
for delivery of materials to support the production plan; work to resolve supply issues and lead time problems that affect the production plan; p rovide forecast information to purchasing for monthly supplier schedules; m onitor production performance against plan and adjust production schedules as necessary; m onitor regulatory changes to all lower level components and ensure that all materials used in production are in compliance; m anage inventory of lower-level components including physical inventories and reconciliations to achieve high accuracy of inventory data; accountable for cycle count accuracy; m aintain all production planning master data in SAP such as material masters, BOM's, routings and work centers; a nalyzes standard vs. actual consumptions to minimize variances and maintain consumptions within standard limits (25%); perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
