Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-semester contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathology professionals seeking to support K-12 students in a school setting. Located in Muskogee, OK, this full-time position offers a structured schedule with responsibilities spanning early childhood through high school grades.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and interventions for students in grades K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to promote student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations.
- Adjust schedules to meet the varying start and end times for middle and high school students.
Qualifications and Desired Experience :
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.Valid licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in pediatric and school settings.Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, and teletherapy modalities is advantageous.Candidates at the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) stage are encouraged to apply.Ability to serve students across the full K-12 spectrum, including middle and high school.SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) qualifications are considered for school-based roles.Schedule and Location :
Position begins in August, aligning with the academic calendar.Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m., totaling 37.5 hours weekly.Some flexibility may be required to accommodate middle and high school scheduling variations.Based in Muskogee, Oklahoma, serving K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting.This position offers a rewarding opportunity to positively impact students communication skills across developmental stages.
