Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse specializing in psychiatric care, seeking a rewarding contract position in West Point, GA. This role supports inpatient psychiatric services, providing crucial care to patients in a structured hospital environment.

Schedule / Hours :

36 hours per week
3 days : 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
2 nights : 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Valid RN license with a psychiatric nursing focus

Minimum of 1 year inpatient psychiatric nursing experience preferred

BLS certification required

Preference given to local nurses to support continuity of care

Responsibilities :

Deliver specialized nursing care to psychiatric inpatients, ensuring safety and therapeutic support

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized patient care plans

Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with staff and families

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing activities and patient responses

Adhere to hospital policies, regulations, and ethical standards in mental health care

Contract Details :

16-week assignment starting October 1, 2025
