HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Baltimore, Maryland.

Title : Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

Location : Baltimore, MD

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Job Responsibilities and Requirements :

The Respiratory Therapist provides specialized respiratory care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in a Level IV NICU and pediatric critical care setting. Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway care, and participation in high-risk deliveries and transports. The therapist will manage a variety of respiratory conditions and equipment, ensuring quality patient outcomes in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience (first-time travelers accepted with strong NICU / PICU background)
  • Experience in Level 4 NICU and pediatric critical care required
  • Proficient in ventilator management including Jet Ventilation, Oscillation, and High Flow Nasal Cannula
  • Skilled in neonatal and pediatric intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy care
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory treatments such as nitric oxide and curosurf delivery
  • Experience with Maquet Servo i and Draeger V500 ventilators preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Patient ratio : 1 : 12; typical census includes 6–7 ventilated patients
  • Certifications :

  • Required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT, State License
