As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

Tutor online via our Live Learning Platform with the ability to set your own schedule.
Provide personalized instruction for AP English Literature and Composition to individual students.
Utilize the platform’s features (including the Tutor Copilot) to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
Invoice for tutoring sessions; platform handles payments.

What We Look For In a Tutor

Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.

Expertise in AP English Literature and Composition with the ability to explain concepts clearly.

Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.

Preference given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
