System Administrator / Cyber Vulnerability

Join AZAD as a System Administrator to perform systems analysis, interface with users to support functional requirements development, and analyze tools and techniques for system development, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and improvement. This position also provides Cyber Vulnerability Assessment (CVA) and conducts vulnerability scanning services, including CVA Data Call responses.

This is a 2+ year consultant position with a high likelihood of long-term employment. It is based in Vancouver, Washington, and is full-time on-site.

The hourly pay rate ranges from $55.00 to $64.00.

Minimum qualifications include :

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
• 8 years of experience with an applicable associate or bachelor's degree.
• 10 years of experience without a degree or with no degree.
• Experience should include a combination of work-related experience, on-the-job training, or vocational training, aligned with the requirements of the IT or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with :
• Vulnerabilities, remediation, and classification schemes (CVE, CVSS, CPE).
• Linux and Windows operating systems, including scripting languages.
• Automating testing activities.
• Patching programs and secure system configuration.
• Evaluation of security controls and vulnerability testing tools.
• Security vulnerabilities, application, and protocol analysis.
• Network topology, communication protocols, firewalls, proxies, and IDS configuration.

Additional requirements include a valid U.S. Driver's License and the ability to pass federal background and drug screening.
