Position Overview :
House of Light is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments, fostering their academic and personal growth. Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of visually impaired students.
- Utilize specialized teaching techniques and adaptive technologies to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
- Conduct assessments to track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary.
- Advocate for the needs of visually impaired students within the school and community.
