Warranty Analyst

SmartTalent is looking for a Warranty Claims Analyst for a client in Puyallup WA. This is a full time, contract role. The ideal candidate will have strong Clerical and Administrative experience, Warranty Claims experience and Proficiency with Windows. This role is onsite.

LOCATION :  Puyallup, WA

PAY : $25 / hr.

SCHEDULE :  Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts

Details

Responsible for processing warranty claims from OEM and aftermarket customers within set timeframes. Makes claim determinations based on customer information and / or product evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

Process warranty claims, complaints, and credits / debits according to policy.

Generate and track work orders, return authorizations, and claim documentation.

Investigate disputed claims and communicate resolutions with customers.

Enter data into warranty and quality databases; prepare reports and trend analysis.

Support product evaluations and recovery of defective materials.

Provide internal and on-site customer support and recommend solutions.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.

Skills & Abilities

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to explain technical subjects clearly to diverse audiences.

Effective working independently or in teams in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

2+ years in a manufacturing environment; knowledge of vehicle A / C and electrical systems a plus.

Experience with technical specifications, drawings, and GD&T.

Data entry accuracy; basic accounting knowledge.

Able to lift 35 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Must meet ITAR compliance (E-Verify).
