BS / MS degree in Electrical engineering or Biomedical Engineering with Electrical Engineering focus
5 years of experience, preferably in the medical device industry
Project leadership experience
Experience in customer facing role is a bonus
Position Responsibilities
Uses engineering methodologies, principles, and tools to develop or improve technical products, systems or processes that meet specified requirements or standards.
Researches and identifies optimal materials and processes to ensure product quality, performance and manufacturability.
Collaborates with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure specifications are captured.
Oversees prototype development and testing to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs, collect feedback and draw meaningful insight for product improvements.
Maintains detailed documentation of test results, processes and specifications for future needs.
Summarizes research results and communicates findings to internal and external bodies. Assists in the development of manufacturing documentation for production processes.
Creates and maintains projects timelines and deliverables. Ensures project timelines are communicated and met.
Act as a mentor to other personnel within the team; responsible for delegating and reviewing others' work product as part of a project team.
Other tasks and duties as assigned.
