Overview
Blue Origin is seeking a Test and Training Engineer II to join the Lunar Permanence team, which develops lunar landers and related infrastructure to support sustainable space exploration and habitation. This role involves coordinating testing activities, ensuring safety and compliance, and contributing to the development of spaceflight capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Lunar Test Team to ensure effective and safe training for Test Engineers.
- Manage and report on the training matrix, ensuring compliance with EHS and engineering standards.
- Design, plan, and execute tests for aerospace systems and components, including data analysis and reporting.
- Develop and support engineering artifacts throughout the development cycle.
- Maintain accurate measurement records and ensure testing procedures meet industry standards.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
BS in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or related field.3+ years of professional or applicable experience.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with aerospace vehicle environmental or electrical testing.Familiarity with Space Force or NASA testing reviews and standards.Additional Details
