Operating Room RN Job Details

Location : Gillette, WY 82716 – Northeastern Wyoming healthcare jobs in a friendly, vibrant community

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Setting : Surgical Services / Operating Room (OR)

Start Date : November 3, 2025

End Date : February 2, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 10-hour day shifts (6 : 30am – 5 : 00pm)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,310 - $2,470

Call Requirement : 7 days per month, including one weekend

Scrubs : Provided by department

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Wyoming RN license (required for Wyoming nursing jobs)

BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience; 2 years preferred for travel nurse roles

Proven skills in circulating and scrubbing for surgical procedures

Competency in ortho (spinal fusions), general, ENT, GYN (c-sections), urology, and endoscopy (colonoscopies & EGD)

Ability to participate in scheduled call rotation

Experience with Meditech charting preferred (ORM module)

OR RN Responsibilities

Circulate and scrub for a range of surgical procedures : ortho, general, ENT, GYN, urology, and endoscopy

Assist with pain clinic procedures requiring conscious sedation

Collaborate with the surgical healthcare team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes

Participate in call rotation (7 days / month, including one weekend)

Document patient care using Meditech ORM module

Adapt quickly during a brief 2-day orientation
