Located in Winsted, MN

Salary : $22-30 / hr DOE

Express Employment Professionals in Chanhassen is looking for Metal Finishers to work at a company in Winsted. The starting pay is $22-30 / hr. DOE! They have 2 schedules you can work, either M-Thursday : 10 hour days or M-F : 8 hour days. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a positive work environment that cares about your well being! Duties :

Grind and polish metal or steel articles to remove excess metal or surface defects.
Smooth surface of item to specified finish, using hand tools and powered tools.
May polish metal surface, using powered polishing wheel or belt.
Operate forklift to move materials.
Monitor inventory for abrasives.
Operate TIG Welder to weld pinholes or pits in metal.
Lubricate and clean powered equipment.
Wears a respirator to safely perform work.
Clocks in and out of work orders in Global Shop.
Perform other related operations as required or directed.

Qualifications :

HS Diploma / GED

Basic computer knowledge

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Ability to lift up to 50lbs and occasionally crawl into small spaces
