The Opportunity :

CACI is looking for a Data Integration Platform Solution Architect to join our team! In this role, you will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to an Information Technology (IT) Systems Engineering team supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS).

This position will be located at Tinker Air Force Base, with 1-2 days of remote work a week.

Responsibilities :

The Data Integration Platform Solution Architect will be responsible for the design and implementation of a new User Experience (UX) Data Integration Platform. As the UX Solution Architect, you will work with the team to build an integration hub to ingest data from multiple Enterprise IT technology solutions with the goal of building enterprise visibility.

Responsibilities include :

Perform an Analysis of Alternatives for different data integration solutions and select the best value solution

Lead the design and implementation of a custom built integration platform

Design and develop Interface Control Documentation for external services to access the data model

Lead the Integration with Application Programmable Interfaces to ingest external sensor data

Provide technical writing, document formalization, and architectural diagrams.

Provide Subject Matter Expertise to the team for the selected solution and solution elements

Lead the day-to-day execution activities of the Engineering team in conjunction with the Project Manager, and UX Technical Lead

Lead the development of the project 24-36 month Cyber Roadmap for the continuous improvement of the chosen solution

Aid in the development of the Project Work Breakdown structure, in conjunction with the Project Manager, to maintain a 12 month work plan

Identify technical continuous improvement and project execution efficiencies

Develop and implement improvements to existing processes and practices

Conduct investigation to understand root cause of issues and problems

Develop topology and flow diagrams with team technical staff

Develop, and brief, solution presentation material to program and DAF Engineering teams

Develops, and leads the development of, automation scripts and code efficiencies

Annual Performance Objectives

Ability to white-board the solution ad-hoc with the project team without the need to reference existing solution materials

Implement identified process improvement per quarter

Travel

Travel up to 25% of the year

Quarterly to Chantilly, VA and surrounding area

Quarterly to Boston, MA and surrounding area

Quarterly to Semi-Annual ad-hoc trips to DAF Installations for solution briefings

Qualifications : Required :

Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance through a National Background Check.

15+ Years of relevant experience as a Senior Technical Engineer and / or Solution Architect (Bachelor's Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).

7 years of experience implementing custom developed solutions for the DoD

3 years of experience with the following data models and Schema's : Open Telemetry, Star, or Custom (Time-Series based or Data Correlation)

Excellent communication skills with experience briefing internal project team members and stakeholders

One of the following Certifications

CISSP, or

Equivalent DoD 8140 Certification Compliance as a Solution Architect.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is :

$103,200 - $226,900
