Agency Project Lead
The Agency Project Lead is responsible for overseeing the integrity, organization, and strategic management of agency and producer data across multiple platforms, including Guidewire, Salesforce, and Berkeley Beyond. This role leads cross-functional initiatives to improve data quality, operational efficiency, and compliance, working closely with Sales, Underwriting, Finance, and Marketing teams. The Agency Project Lead supports strategic decisions related to broker appointments, segmentation, and incentive programs, and serves as a subject matter expert on agency operations. Key responsibilities include managing agency data workflows, coordinating system updates, administering compensation programs, and developing performance reporting tools to enhance broker engagement and drive business growth.
Key functions include but are not limited to :
Agency / Producer Oversight :
- Responsible for data management and upkeep of Agency related information to transact business within PEI
- Ensure compliance with Agency licenses, E&O, and storage of documentation
- Ensure timely updates are made with Broker of Record updates within Guidewire
- Ensure timely updates for New Agency appointments are entered with Guidewire along with compliance that all necessary information is gathered and stored for compliance issues
- Insure proper data management of agency information within Guidewire
- Responsible for project management activities to improve data quality within Guidewire working with Underwriting operations to improve operational efficiencies to both internal and external stakeholders
- Intimate knowledge of both Berkeley Beyond and Policy Center to both identify and resolve issues that arise
- Documentation of work processes to execute duties
- Responsible for coordination and communication of agency related updates and changes
- Serve as PEI representative and subject matter expert on corporate agency management directives to improve agent data quality
Administer Agency / Program Segmentation, Analysis and Maintenance :
Work with Sales Leadership in determining the methodology and assignment of agencies within designated tiers as related to defined metrics to drive long term growth and profitabilityUnderstand and improve data management hierarchy to determine most efficient and productive means to create agent facing reports to improve productivity and engagementWork with Data analytics to understand and comprehend data tables to create agency facing reportsCoordinate activities, improvement and management of data from Guidewire to Salesforce to improve operational efficiencyDetermine standards, create, and maintain agency incentives programs encompassing new business and profit-sharing programsMonitor and create reporting to the sales leadership and agencies on performance metrics to goalsAnalyze and recommend possible solutions to drive greater performance and activityMonitor and create reports on the effectiveness of created incentive and profit share programsWork with marketing in promoting programs and sustainability of such created programsWork with Finance and Sales in reviewing and validating proper amounts are paid according to stated agreements with historical records of what was paid and whenQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field is required.5+ years of experience in project management, agency operations, sales operations, or a related field, preferably within insurance, financial services, or a distribution-focused organization.Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage complex data systems, and drive operational improvements.Strong understanding of agency segmentation, compensation programs, and producer data management.Experience working with platforms such as Guidewire, Salesforce, and Berkeley Beyond is highly desirable.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with compliance standards, broker licensing, and incentive program governance.Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and CRM / reporting platforms.Additional Company Details
