Key responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver training : Create and implement comprehensive training plans and materials for new and existing staff on revenue cycle concepts, processes, and software. This can include instructor-led (in-person or virtual) and e-learning formats.
- Support staff : Act as a resource for staff, providing support and answering questions to resolve issues related to registration, claim submission, and payment processing. Conduct onboarding and ongoing education sessions for existing staff to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Create materials : Develop and maintain various training materials, including guides, cheat sheets, and curriculum for EMR system go-lives or upgrades.
- Assess and monitor : Evaluate training effectiveness through monitoring and feedback and assess staff and departmental performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and improve processes : Analyze operational data and workflows to identify gaps and work with leadership to implement process improvements and new initiatives.
- Stay current : Keep knowledge of healthcare industry trends, payer guidelines, and software updates to ensure training content is accurate and relevant.
- Reporting : Maintain detailed records of training activity and outcomes for reporting and compliance purposes.

Minimum of three to five years of experience in revenue cycle management role. Demonstrated experience with optimizing revenue cycle workflows, improving financial outcomes and training.
