Position Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our growing team in Covington, LA. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Controller to support the day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth financial processes. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and being part of a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

Provide general accounting and clerical support to the Accounting Department.

Accurately enter financial data into company databases and accounting systems.

Prepare, maintain, and reconcile accounting documents and records.

Assist with internal and external requests for financial information.

Maintain compliance with all company policies, accounting standards, and applicable laws.

Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience : 3–5 years of broad accounting experience (construction or manufacturing industry experience a plus).

Skills & Abilities :

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
