As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position involves driving responsibilities as you conduct routine patrols throughout the location. Fri 03 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a retail environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.

Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other urgent situations.

Work collaboratively with location management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and concerns.

Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner as per Allied Universal and site standards.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A valid driver's license is required for driving positions, in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements; driving positions are preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
