Nursing Assistant (Na) Position

Nursing Assistants (NA) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care at Select Specialty Hospital - Akron, a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery.

Location : Akron, OH

Schedule : PRN / Per Diem, 12-hour shifts - Days and Nights Available!

Compensation : $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned
