Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with acute or chronic wounds. Your expertise in wound assessment, treatment, and management will play a crucial role in promoting healing and preventing complications.

Responsibilities :

Perform thorough assessments of patients' wounds, including measurement, staging, and documentation
Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on patients' specific needs and medical history
Administer wound care treatments such as dressing changes, debridement, and application of topical medications
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients and their families on proper wound care techniques and self-management strategies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Qualifications :

Valid nursing practitioner license in the state of Florida

Proven experience as a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or similar role

In-depth knowledge of wound assessment, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices

Proficiency in performing procedures such as IV insertion, dermal fillers, neonatal ventilator management, spinal tap, etc.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment

Familiarity with case management principles is preferred

Pay : $130,000.00 per year
