Position Summary :

The Finish Lab Technician is responsible for edging, blocking, mounting, inspecting, and cleaning prescription lenses and frames to meet quality standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely delivery of finished eyewear products for wholesale distribution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Operate automated and manual edging equipment (e.g., MEI, Santinelli, Essilor edgers)
• Perform blocking and de-blocking procedures according to lab SOPs
• Insert lenses into frames and ensure proper alignment and fitting
• Conduct final inspection of completed eyewear for accuracy, defects, or flaws
• Verify jobs against work orders and prescription specifications
• Clean, buff, and package finished eyewear for delivery
• Maintain clean and organized workstations
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the Finish Manager
• Participate in daily production goals and quality standards
