Inventory Associate

Inventory Associate

Provides inventory reports to the purchasing and inventory control manager.

Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.

Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and / or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.

Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.

Handles all inventory movements across the facility.

Assists with periodic physical inventory audits.

Operates forklift truck when necessary.

Performs other related duties as requested.

Ability to use the computer.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to manage high stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.

Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.

At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.

Proper employment documentation.

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Willingness to work evenings and weekends, if requested.

Experience and knowledge in horticulture and / or agriculture preferred.

Previous inventory experience.

Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for extended periods.

Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.

Degree in horticulture, agriculture, or plant science field is desirable.
