About The Position

Job Title : Acute Neuro Unit Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : Neuro

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12.5

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty.

License : Current nursing license required.

Certifications : Required BLS, NIHSS, ACLS.

Must-Have : Must work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday.

Description :

The position requires working in an acute neuro unit.

Primary services include neurosurgery, neurology, ear, nose and throat surgery, and general surgery.

Patients will include those recovering from acute illnesses or surgery.

Patients will be ambulatory and able to provide some of their own care with some needing continued assessment.

Others will be bedridden and require total care.

Must work 2 major holidays : Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.

Also must work 1 minor holiday : Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve.
