RN / LPN Unit Manager

Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center,  located in Lakewood, NJ, is seeking a Full-Time  Nurse Unit Manager  to join our team of professionals!

The  Unit Manager  must have a valid NJ  Registered Nurse (RN)  or  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)  License.

This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day patient care, for supervising, directing, and developing Subacute nursing staff. This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Maintaining and restoring health of residents on the unit.
• Acting as a main point of contact between the residents and their family members.
• Addressing and preventing concerns from residents and their family members.
• Assists in developing, implementing, and adjusting resident care plans as needed.
• Supervises, counsels, and provides discipline when necessary to nursing staff on unit.
• Ensures the unit meets federal and state regulatory standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Delivers hands-on care and medication distribution as needed.
