Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aero and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will engage with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Your role is vital in supporting a secure environment where teamwork, reliability, and integrity matter. Pay Rate : $21.22 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior or unauthorized access within the location and promptly report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by the site.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience or at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of experience as a security-related supervisor or manager or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
