Established in 1926, Mutual Trading Co., Inc. was originally a small co-op organization for centralized purchasing of basic import foods to service the needs of the early Japanese immigrant society in Southern California. We've grown nearly 100 years old now, and command a premiere position among Japanese foodservice suppliers, as well as fill a key role as "Culinary Ambassador" promoting Japanese foods worldwide. Currently, we import, manufacture, and distribute over 7,000 Japanese foods, beverages, restaurant equipment and supplies.
We are looking for an experienced CDL driver to join our coming soon branch in Houston, Texas. In this important role, you will be responsible for CDL truck driving and long-distance delivery, providing excellent services to our distributors or restaurant customers, and performing efficient warehouse functions. You will work in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment that continuous progress is highly regarded.

Essential Job Functions :
Completes door to door deliveries by driving 26’ straight truck on assigned routes with regional delivery for 1-2 nights per week (Between Mon - Fri. OFF on weekend) and delivery area across TX and LA.Documents, records, and completes driver log when making deliveriesComplies with DOT Rules and regulations and safety navigates the Company vehicleMakes product deliveries and loads delivery trucks in a timely mannerPicks and assembles orders as indicated on the pick listStacks and organizes warehouse palletsAssists receiving with unloading, stocking, and inventory check in a timely mannerInspects received products for damage and volume accuracy and documents accordinglyAccurately stocks inventory in the assigned warehouse location and rotates product inventory to maintain a First-IN, First-OUT (FIFO) food storage systemPartakes in warehouse upkeep and ensures the stockroom is clean and organizedCoordinates with salespersons to assemble urgent deliveries to customersMaintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent serviceParticipates in the weekly warehouse meetingsAttend semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekendProvides logistics support for Company events and functions outside of normal working hoursOther duties as assignedObligation to answer to all management as requestedPhysical Requirements
