About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Neuro ICU

License : Valid State RN License required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC (preferred)

Must-Have : Neuro experience with at least 1 year in Neuro ICU

Epic charting system experience is required

Certification must be current

Description :

Locals accepted within 50 miles travel requirement.

Locals will receive local rate.

CA license and certifications must be in hand to submit.

Weekend requirements include every other weekend.

Patient ratio is 1 : 2.

The unit supports adult and geriatric patients with a daily census of 18 to 22.

The ICU has 24 beds split between two wings.

No differentiation or consolidation of specific patient diagnoses is made.

The ICU team works effectively in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround and patient throughput.

An interdisciplinary support team is available, including IV teams, therapy services, and social services.

Primary service lines include trauma ICU and neuro / stroke ICU patients post-procedure.

Specialized care includes ICP monitoring, EVD management, and post-cardiac arrest protocols.

Experience with massive blood transfusion and management of ventilated patients is essential.

Candidates must be proficient in managing complex patient care situations.

No holiday time off will be approved during the contract.

The position may involve floating to other units as needed.

Candidates must be prepared for lab work within a few days of signing.

Background checks are required prior to submission; all hits or DUIs must be disclosed.

Previous charge experience is preferred, and strong teamwork skills are essential.
