Emergency Medicine Physician (Locums) A leading healthcare system is actively seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locums coverage. The Emergency Physician will deliver high-quality care to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries in a hospital Emergency Department. About the Opportunity Schedule : Full-time or shift-based; days, nights, and weekends possible Specialty : Emergency Medicine Key Responsibilities Perform rapid assessments and stabilize critically ill or injured patients. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Perform emergency procedures (airway management, suturing, central lines, etc.). Collaborate with specialists and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and continuity of care. Document patient encounters accurately in EMR. Qualifications Education : MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Licensure : Active and unrestricted license in the state of practice. Board Certification : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine. Preferred : Experience in high-volume ED or trauma center.
