Brentwood Behavioral offers both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. Located in Flowood, MS, in Rankin County with close proximity to Hinds and Madison Counties, our outpatient services are within driving distance to many surrounding areas. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a talented and dynamic Dietary Aide for the Dietary Department - (PRN).

A dietary aide is responsible for effectively operating food preparation equipment, assembling food items, taking and recording temperatures, along with ensuring stock and inventory control. Performs duties in accordance with the MSHD and JCAHO standards and follows facility sanitary guidelines. Participates in special food service events including orientation and holiday celebrations. The performance of physical food service operating procedures to ensure a food safe, balanced, and appealing health care dietary environment and all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read and follow written dietary plans.

Preferred : Prior experience in the food service / preparation field.
