REPORTS TO : Maintenance Manager

DEPARTMENT : Operations

TYPE OF POSITION : Full-Time

OFFICE LOCATION : Valley City

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative

maintenance requirements on motors, air systems, conveyor systems, and production machines.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

  • Mechanical troubleshooting
  • Hydraulics / pneumatics
  • Welding
  • Electrical work
  • Construction fabrication
  • An understanding of the value of a good preventative maintenance program
  • Ability to follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, engineering specifications, and good manufacturing policies.
  • Maintain a safe clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Work directly with production teams to ensure equipment readiness

Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Detail orientated
  • Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • High School diploma minimum
  • Constantly stand, bend, and twist for a 10-hour shift
  • Constantly push and / or pull
  • Continuously use fine dexterity and / or forceful grasping
  • Occasionally crawl, kneel, and / or squat
