Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough annual reviews of customer escrow accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile property tax and insurance disbursements made from escrow accounts throughout the year.
- Compare collected funds with disbursements to identify any shortages or surpluses in escrow accounts.
- Calculate adjustments needed for monthly escrow payments based on analysis results.
- Prepare and distribute official escrow analysis statements, including projections for the upcoming year.
- Ensure all escrow procedures align with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in escrow accounts, reporting findings to management.
- Provide accurate documentation and maintain meticulous records for auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to address compliance-related issues and improve processes.
- Proven experience in escrow processing or a related field.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed reconciliations.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to escrow accounts.
- Proficiency in using software tools for record-keeping and analysis.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for reporting findings and resolving discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in preparing financial statements or similar documentation.
