Facilities Service Worker

$15.15 minimum starting pay

Job Level : Individual Contributor

Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this is the minimum starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.

What You Will Be Doing :

Perform a variety of assignments on a regular or fill-in basis related to the Facilities Service Worker functions. Work under general supervision and is accountable for the following : conference room set-ups, moving office and cubicle furniture, boxes and personal items, respond to service calls for housekeeping and light maintenance issues. Maintain the Home Office Campus's vending machines and accountable for : stocking, inventorying, ordering, pulling monies weekly and cleaning of vending machines. Must have the ability to keep a steady work schedule and regular, predictable attendance to ensure steady workflow with minimal disruptions to department schedules and deadlines.

Due to the duties and responsibilities of this position, a Motor Vehicle Report may be ordered on final candidates.

What We're Looking For :

• Ability to obtain class E driver's license
• Excellent customer service skills for effective interaction with employees
• Ability to bend or stoop to floor level and lift items weighing 30 80 pounds on a daily basis
• Capability to perform cashier duties including counting money and making correct change
• Good knowledge of maintenance and janitorial supplies and ability to use effectively
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
