The Washington Hilton is looking for a room attendant to join our housekeeping team! Discover a contemporary urban retreat located in the heart of D.C.'s most desirable neighborhoods. Steeped in history, our hotel has hosted presidents, notable figures, and prestigious events since 1965. Enjoy a seasonal outdoor heated pool with spectacular views of the Washington Monument. Find this historic hotel within blocks of Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan, with the White House and National Mall less than two miles away.

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous housekeeping or janitorial experience, preferably in a hotel setting, a passion for teamwork and the ability to work a variety of shifts flexibly!

Shift Pattern : Full availability needed, including nights (PM shifts), weekends, and holidays

Pay Rate : $20.78 - $27.70 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Room Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :

  • Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
  • Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed.
  • Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables.
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Perform guest turn down service, as needed.
