Join Our Team as a Clinical Nurse LPN!

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse LPN, you will :

  • Assist providers and clinical staff in obtaining vital information and preparing patients for examinations, treatments, and minor surgical procedures.
  • Demonstrate your clinical skills by performing assigned duties competently.
  • Draw and collect blood and other samples, preparing specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Administer vaccines and medications via oral, IM, SQ, or ID routes.
  • Place urinary catheters following established protocols.
  • Schedule referrals for patients and complete necessary forms, including appropriate coding.
  • Track follow-up appointments related to office visits and lab tests to monitor patient disease status.
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic health records using standardized workflows.

Development and Patient Education

In addition to clinical duties, you will :

  • Stay informed about clinic and organizational updates by attending meetings and checking communications regularly.
  • Maintain compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and Safety and Risk Management guidelines.
  • Exhibit behavior consistent with all policies, including Compliance and HIPAA.
  • Show initiative to enhance quality and customer service, striving to exceed expectations.
  • Educate patients and families using the Teach-back method according to protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with your team, valuing diverse perspectives and contributing to shared goals.
  • Perform additional duties as requested to ensure smooth office operations.

    • Qualifications

    To thrive in this role, you should have :

  • Certifications : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Education : High School Diploma or GED (Required).
  • Experience : Relevant work experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The compensation range for this position is $21.74 - $36.31 per hour . This range reflects a good faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, and location.
