Job Description
The GTM Planning & Portfolio Analyst role is responsible for supporting the strategic oversight of Go-To-Market initiatives and portfolio strategies. This role focuses on ensuring that projects and initiatives align with the company's strategic goals and are prioritized effectively. The role will bridge the gap between revenue operations and data analytics, providing critical insights to optimize our go-to-market strategy and improve revenue performance.
This role will be on a hybrid schedule based out of one of our offices, applicants should expect to be in office several times per month.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for building robust business cases that provide a solid foundation for decision-making to support prioritization across the organization. This includes generating business cases, analyzing potential value and risk, and ensuring new initiatives support the organization's long-term strategy.
- Tracks product performance by business segment, industry and GTM channel; to recommend actions to Sales Leadership and implements response actions.
- Responsible for continuously refine and optimize the portfolio strategies and priorities.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to project performance, including financials, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide leadership with a clear view of the portfolio's health.
- Program Manage post launch GTM initiatives to ensure it aligns to initiation goals and KPIs. Ensures that a successful launch is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of a continuous process of improvement and growth. Acts as guardian of the product's early life in the market, making sure it thrives and meets its full potential.
- Support the development and maintenance of portfolio management methodologies and processes. This ensures consistency and rigor in how projects are initiated, planned, executed, and monitored.
- Lead and execute complex data analysis projects, including in-depth trend analyses, revenue insights, and sophisticated KPI modeling.
- Analyzes business opportunities and trends to grow the VS&A MSI offer both organically and inorganically; provides input to influence and define future product portfolio strategy for North America.
- Maintains a pulse of competitive landscape and overall market trends to define market leading solutions.
- Provides support during product development stages by helping make trade offs involving features, schedules, cost, pricing, solution positioning, and lifecycle management.
- Tracking project budgets, analyzing variances, and helping to manage the overall financial health of the portfolio. They may also work with finance departments to align project funding with available resources.
- Help identify, assess, and monitor risks and issues that could impact portfolio performance or strategic objectives. They provide analysis and recommendations to mitigate these risks.
Additional Skills / Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree; Masters degree is a plus.A minimum of 3 years of related experience in portfolio or product management, Product Planning, Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales Operations, Product Engineering or Sales Engineering.Understanding of financial cost models and business plans.The ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling, and concise narratives is critical. You will need to present your findings and recommendations to senior leaders and other stakeholders, often in the form of reports and presentations.Proficient in Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau or Power BI for creating dashboards and visualizing portfolio performance.Proficient in Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira for tracking project status and timelines dependencies.Database Management. Familiarity with SQL or other database languages is a plus.Ability to understand and communicate the big picture while being able to be detail-oriented about execution.Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while paying excellent attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools (ie. SFDC).Excellent organizational skills.Demonstrated analytical skills.Proficient in English, both written and verbal.Problem-solving and dispute-resolution abilities.Target Base Salary Range : $65,000 - $75,000 USD

Basic Requirements
