Workers Compensation Attorney

Attorney position available in busy law office. Excellent opportunity for the right person to grow in a well-established firm with multiple locations throughout New York City.

Our firm handles Workers Compensation cases and involves going to court, speaking with clients and handling depositions. Since many of our clients are foreign-speaking, we prefer to hire bilingual attorneys. Please indicate any additional languages you speak.

Applicants should possess the following skills :

MUST have 1-3 years NYS Workers Compensation experience.

• Superior organizational and administrative skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well under deadlines, oversee multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills and in-person presence
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including a professional phone manner
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Excellent attention to detail and willingness to take initiative; self-starter
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and to work with minimal supervision
